Alex Gavinchuk is an experienced Designer within our Mechanical team, and one of Arrow’s original team members. Alex has well over fifteen years in the Mechanical industry, and is well versed in the delivery of projects through a variety of projects sectors, including Educational facilities, Corporate and Industrial Offices, and Mixed-Use spaces.
Alex is known as a dedicated team player within our walls, and helps to maintain much of Arrow’s award winning culture. Alex’s willingness to jump in and lend a helping hand to his teammates make him a trusted partner on any project he is a part of.
Whit joined Arrow in 2012 at our office in Saskatoon, SK. His project experience includes the design of mechanical systems for assisted living, education, healthcare, professional / office buildings and retail. Whit has been an excellent contributor to the success of Arrow’s office in Saskatoon, and continually strives to construct a great culture, and atmosphere within. Taking on new projects and advancing the Saskatoon Office, Whit plays an important role with Arrow and our many successes.
Justin has been a member of our Arrow Saskatoon team since 2013. A graduate of the University of Saskatchewan’s Electrical Engineering program, Justin’s experience and skills includes power systems modeling and analysis, project management, detailed design, tendering and overseeing construction administration. With his years of experience, focus, and skills, Justin is a valuable addition to any project team.
Landon Trumbley has been a member of the Arrow team since 2014, and holds an Engineering Drafting and Design Diploma through SIAST. He joins us with a wealth of technical skills, including REVIT, making Landon an excellent addition to our Electrical team. Through his offer of technical skills and resources, and to all aspects of project delivery, Landon participates in identifying and implementing client-focused solutions.
Scott Koehn leads Arrow’s vibrant Mechanical team as Senior Engineer and Vice President. With over twenty years of industry experience, Scott is recognized for his integrity, vast technical knowledge and impressive sustainable design experience. As a key member of Arrow’s Senior Leadership Team, Scott works to pursue new projects and client relationships, while ensuring that project deliverables align with client expectations. Arrow’s Mechanical team rely on Scott for mentorship, oversight, overall project direction and design concepts, while clients trust Scott with quality assurance and his ability to see even the most complex project through to successful completion.
Throughout his career, Scott has been involved in the design of thousands of projects which span a diverse set of requirements and end users. Scott’s conscientious nature is readily evident in the projects that he is a part of, and in the trusted relationships he has cultivated with his team and clients. When asked about the most satisfying part of his job, Scott explains that he “loves seeing a finished project that has a positive impact on a community”.
Kevin Mattai acts an integral member of Arrow’s Electrical team in his role as Senior Project Manager. As a professional engineer, Kevin is responsible for overseeing projects from inception to completion, providing mentorship and guidance to Arrow’s design team throughout.
Kevin draws on his extensive experience and understanding of client goals and expectations as he executes electrical designs, reviews design work, and provides direction to Arrow’s Electrical design team; working to provide quality assurance to clients. As required, Kevin lends his impressive knowledge of LEED and Green Globes design requirements to meet the sustainable goals and expectations of end users.
Seeking to cultivate meaningful and long-standing relationships with industry colleagues, Kevin consistently works to identify new project opportunities for Arrow. Known for his patient, resolute pursuit of excellence in design and project management, Kevin aspires to provide solutions that are not only “cost effective for building owners, but effective and comfortable for end users”.
Glen Tichkowsky is one of Arrow’s most accomplished engineers, having worked as a key member of Arrow’s Mechanical team since Arrow’s inception. With over a decade of experience, Glen is known for his focus on highly-functional, comprehensive design, and for his impressive accomplishments in the design of numerous sustainable and LEED targeted / certified projects. Glen leads Arrow’s LEED and Energy Modeling department and constantly pursues new information and knowledge as it pertains to sustainable design and new technologies.
Glen works collaboratively with project teams as he represents Arrow throughout design and construction, coordinating projects from preliminary planning stages to completion. Glen is responsible for the overall design of his projects, and maintains close involvement with his design team throughout the design process, working to deliver design that is aligned with client expectations, and lending his understanding of overarching client goals to ensure that projects are created with the ‘bigger picture’ in mind. Glen’s considerate and helpful nature are reflected in the impressive experience he has amassed working with many of Arrow’s repeat clients. Relied upon by colleagues and clients alike for his vast technical and sustainable knowledge, Glen explains that one of the most satisfying parts of his job is “working with junior team members and seeing their skills develop and thrive”.
Arvid Schimke works at the helm of Arrow’s thriving Electrical team as Vice President and Senior Engineer. Arvid is highly qualified for this role, with 20 years of experience in electrical design through a vast array of project sectors. Arvid’s responsibilities include the pursuit of new business and client relationships alongside Arrow’s Senior Leadership team while maintaining close involvement with his project management team, providing mentorship and guidance throughout the design process. Arvid plays a key role in ensuring that client deliverables are met when projects cross the finish line – no matter how intricate or challenging. Known for his methodical pursuit of design excellence and gentle nature, Arvid is well liked and respected by clients and industry colleagues alike; his values and work ethic are reflected by his highly accomplished team, with whom he has worked to create a thoughtful and efficient group.
Arvid has contributed to thousands of projects; their diverse technical requirements and end users have equipped Arvid to lead his team with knowledge and ease. With notable experience in sustainable design, Arvid contributes to projects which have LEED requirements, working to combine sustainable design techniques with his decades of experience in efficient, user-friendly electrical design. Arvid cites “teamwork and comradery” among the most enjoyable aspects of his role at Arrow and notes that “watching the larger project team succeed together never gets old. Learning and moving forward together is deeply satisfying, especially as we’re fortunate to work with some of the brightest minds in our industry – represented by our clients, and within the Arrow team.”
