Our progressive approach to both our work and relationships, along with this acknowledgement, distinguishes us from our competition.”

As always, we recognize that our success is shared, and would not be possible without the contributions of our loyal staff, and our valued relationships with clients and industry colleagues. Holiday Greetings 2013
By Leanne Wierenga on November 29, 2013
The year has come and gone, and we find ourselves in the midst of another holiday season. In taking a moment to reflect on the past year, we are struck by the knowledge that our continued growth and success hinges entirely on the contributions of our loyal staff, and associations with our valued clients and industry colleagues; how truly blessed we all are. As we prepare to spend time with our families and friends, we take this opportunity to pause, and reflect on how truly fortunate we are. At Arrow, we firmly believe that we are a part of something greater than ourselves, and are certain that the abundance of blessings in our lives are meant to be shared with others; specifically, those who are challenged with illness or misfortune.
Throughout 2013, we have had the privilege of partnering with a number of charitable organizations, and causes which champion individuals who are in need. Arrow and our team of Employees have been pleased to give back in a number of ways, including gifts in kind, monetary donations, volunteering time, and other unique initiatives. These noteworthy causes include a Habitat for Humanity build, and the CANstruction event, benefiting the Edmonton Food Bank; we’re proud to have supported more than 40 organizations in both Alberta and Saskatoon this past year.
In keeping with Arrow’s holiday tradition, we have chosen to donate to select organizations, who we feel strongly about providing additional reinforcement this holiday season. Our team has already gathered to participate in a gift exchange and donation to Santa’s Anonymous, giving the joy of Christmas to families and children in need.
In lieu of gifts, we’re pleased to announce that we have committed to a substantial in-kind contribution to Wellspring Edmonton. The intention of Wellspring is to create an atmosphere for cancer patients that is distinct from hospitals and clinics. At Wellspring, “the emphasis is on the person, not on the illness.” Visit www.wellspringedmonton.ca, for more information. Similarly, we have also supported Sorrentino’s Compassion House, and more recently the Edmonton Opera, with in-kind charitable contributions, further reinforcing their respective development goals for 2013.
In addition, and in light of the recent devastation of Typhoon Haiyan, we have chosen to donate to the Red Cross, towards much needed relief efforts in the Philippines. Visit http://www.redcross.ca/donate , to learn more.
And finally, our Saskatoon team has elected to support the Children’s Hospital Foundation of Saskatchewan. The Children’s Hospital Foundation “is dedicated to raising funds for the enhancement of children’s healthcare and the Children’s Hospital of Saskatchewan,” a cause we wholeheartedly stand behind. For more information, visit www.childrenshospitalsask.ca.
The leadership team at Arrow realizes that our success is shared, and as such is dependent upon the synergies we have with our Employees, Colleagues, and Clients. Please accept our most sincere and humble thanks for this ongoing collaboration. May you and your loved ones have great joy, peace, and prosperity this holiday season and in the coming year. Merry Christmas!

Helping Hands
By Leanne Wierenga on October 1, 2013
On Saturday, September 28, members of the Arrow team gathered to contribute to Arrow’s annual Habitat Build Day. This years’ project was located in Neufeld Landing, which, according to Habitat Edmonton, is Habitat for Humanity Edmonton’s largest build to date, and the largest Habitat development in Canadian History.
This initiative represents, our collective desire to engage within the communities we live, work, and play in. In the words of team lead, Francis de Grano, “I made sure to make myself available to be part of this year’s Habitat for Humanity event, as I was unable to attend last year. The mechanical and electrical design were developed in-house in our Edmonton office. As I was involved in the mechanical design, I was really curious to see how these houses would be built. This is such a wonderful initiative to help end homelessness and give people a hand toward improving their quality of life. Everyone that participated in the event enjoyed giving their time to a worthwhile cause; we’re all looking forward to taking part next year.”
We’re proud to have such generous, caring people at Arrow, and are honored to be a part of something so significant. As always, we encourage our industry friends and colleagues to join is in supporting great local causes like Habitat for Humanity. Learn more about Habitat: http://www.hfh.org/
